Announcing Pirate's Plunders new "Featured Item of the Week"
Each week at Pirate's Plunder we're selecting an item from the store to be the "Featured Item of the Week." We'll make a video of the item and post it every Sunday morning. The featured item will also be featured on our website.
This week's Featured Item is a 1923 Victor Victrola VV-80.
The VV-80 was produced from 1921-1925. Each VV-80 was given a serial number during production which also indicated the year it was made. The serial number on the Pirate's Plunder cabinet tells us this one was made in 1923.
The earliest versions had no record storage shelves; these were later added as standard equipment by the end of 1921. The VV-80 cabinet was updated in December 1922, with a much larger horn opening and a slightly larger cabinet. The result is what you see in the video.
This upright floor model is in a mahogony cabinet. It is in excellent working order. And, cosmetically this piece has been beautifully preserved.
This small machine is capable of projecting amazing, wall to wall volume and fantastic fidelity.
This beautiful piece is now available at Pirates Plunder. Come on over and take a look or contact us online at http://www.piratesplunder.net
